I feel...work...wtf just happen

Funding work now in 2022, you must ask the right questions. You must always be up front with everything.
I'm on day 3 at Starbucks at my local grocery store. 1st day I felt like I should have just applied to the actual company.  Sure the way the do things are way different when it comes to staff and making coffee.
I'm hoping for 4 days. I know I won't be making it all the way but I can go find a second job to fill in that one day.
On the second day, my boss tells me they are over staffed and only have a certain amount of hours she can give out. Guess what, I was hired last so  at the bottom toll. I will most likely work shift others can't work. Get what I can.
In my head,  just like ' why the fuck did you hire me?'
When  another teammate decide to come back from school or break they can have there original spot back? Okay, well I rather not. I didn't ask enough questions and was not able to talk to the manager of Starbucks in the grocery store at that time.
Now I know how they operate, I see why they have a high over turn around.
It's  not because they don't like there job or they are not getting paid enough. Not enough hours where they have to look somewhere else. Maybe juggle both.
Since that is a option to work one day or 2 days, I'm going for it.
I left a job that was 36 hours and getting pay around 14 for one that pays more but now, it doesn't make up for the money I will be losing.
She say. It's only until july...hahha...no honey. I have to move out, u have to make sure I can afford the place and on top of it might have to get a hotel to wait for a apartment. Single mom with help from family.

Ahh, just feel fucked over. They were worried about getting someone in and then all the college students wa t to run back to work
Naw I have to go. I need to support my family. If I new it was like that, I wouldn't have taken the job. I actually would have just applied to Starbucks. Which I might just actually do.
