Hello again...Parable of the Sower

Hello their. I have picked up this book Parable of the Sower I started reading in December I believe. Now it's February and I'm finally almost done. I took a break from the book to watch the handmaid tale on Hulu but I found myself going back to the book.

  Being so close to the end, sadness felt my face once I was done reading chapter 23. Maybe because, there is really no one to save anyone. No save haven. The rebuilding of the government to guide people. To change things seems to slowly developed or not at all. It's just the truth in your face. It's just how America will be one day. We are closer then we think. It hurts to read. Yes the Hulu tv show is good. I'm sure the book is as well but the parable of the sower shows you more pain then you want to. Tells you the raw truth that if you made this as a show it will reach a bigger audience. Maybe people will prepare more and get ready for what is coming. Decide to leave before things hit the fan. Or maybe, just sit there in silence and think. Pick up the bible and pray. 

   This is one book I'm actually crying in side. If you break it down, my heart is broken for America.  If you have  the time and the money, please go ahead and buy and ready the book. Have it in your hand. Not on a kindle or tablet. Actually buy it. It's one of those books that need to be on your shelve. 

    Remember Octavia Butler wrote this centuries ago. I believe in the 1900's.
