being 40 weeks pregnant
I would love to talk about being 40 weeks and 1 day pregant. I was exhausted and tired.
Well I remember going to my doctors appointment but it was with another OBGYN which I was ok with but I sure didn't want to deliver until my doctor came back. Anyways as I arrive I was nervous and excited to get the process going.
As I waited and head back to check my weight to pee in a cup all I can think about was...when is my baby coming. I never been this far along. Maybe my due date is wrong?Once he came in and check me he swap my membrane...cervix area. It doesn't hurt to bad but it did help get things moving.
Ready to leave he bascially said we can induce you on monday. Ha that was funny because I was on 40 weeks and I wanted my baby to have a chance to come out on her own. Little did he know I did some research. I could wait until I was 42 weeks and then induce around that time.
I told him no I wanted to wait until I was at least 42 weeks. I figure it would give me time to get a few more things done and I wanted my doctor to be there. As I left I knew I had the rest of the week for her to come. Sitting on my butt was it going to help.
The next day I ran some errands..walked and worked out ( yoga)try to keep moving until I said forget about it. I relaxed and took the kids out and played outside with there friends basically for 6 hours. (lots of standing and walking)
That's when everything started.
I will tell you all about that in my next blog post. stay tune
